Literal signs of support are also sprouting from more and more yards in House District 13. If you would like a yard sign (or if you lost one after a windy day and need a replacement) you can send in your sign request with this form.
This week’s reception at Astoria CafĂ© and Market was a welcome opportunity to spend some time with friends and supporters. Old and new volunteers gathered, along with a number of elected officials including: State Representative Nickie Antonio; County Council member Dale Miller; Lakewood City Council Members Dan O’Malley, Meghan George and Tristan Rader; among others.
Skindell also made a point of recognizing and thanking the many candidates for Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Central Committee in attendance, most of them first-time candidates for any office. Skindell commended them for the needed energy, and renewed focus on local grassroots democracy, which they can bring to our political process.
